Matthew Piecora, aka EZBOT, is a Seattle-based artist and educator, who specializes in hardware electronic music. In his compositions you’ll discover sounds inspired by 90’s alternative rock, deep house, techno, and jazz. Using experimental live-coding, samplers, synthesizers, and sequencers, EZBOT aims to evoke feelings of nostalgia using modern music technology.

When he is not using his synthesizers and drum machines, Matthew works in Bitwig studio and is currently a certified trainer. Matthew creates video content for the Patchwerks’ YouTube channel as well as his personal channel EZBOT. Looking for lessons? I will take the time to help you get to know your device even if I have never used it before. I am confident we will have you up and running in no time.

I work at a synthesizer store in Seattle, WA and have plenty of experience helping people pick out their next tool for music creation.

How much are lessons?

Lessons are $65 USD an hour. I offer a discount for bulk lessons: 5 hours for $315 with HD recordings and 10 hours for $600 with HD recordings.

How do we do the lessons?

Lessons are done over StreamYard or Zoom. If you have trouble getting that to work I am happy to help you figure it out. I will send you a link to join our session 1 hour before our lesson.

What are my favorite things to teach?

I think I enjoy teaching the Digitakt and the Octarack the most. Digitakt probably being my favorite because we will have a song written by the end of the lesson.
